Short documentary about cleaning up cigarette butts on a street in the Ximen district of Taipei. Watch the trailer!
About the film – The idea for this film started on my ten-minute walk to work each morning. The number of smokers and how often I saw someone carelessly throw a cigarette butt into a storm drain was astounding to me. The biggest obstacle to environmental change seems to be that when given a choice between minor convenience and long term interests, humans choose convenience. There needs to be a shift in attitude: That act of convenience, which we feel only has a minor impact, is probably also being committed by a million other people each day. The choices we make add up.
